Our Story

Griffin Archery was born from a life-changing challenge.  After a career-ending injury while serving as a firefighter, paramedic and heavy rescue tech, Jay Griffin found healing and purpose through archery. The sport became more than a hobby, it became therapy, a community to belong to, and a new beginning.

With a dream of creating an archery shop to provide exceptional customer service and equipment to support each customer’s archery journey, Griffin Archery has grown into one of East Texas's premier archery destinations.

Who We Are

Griffin Archery is a family-owned and run, full-service archery pro shop with a 20yard indoor range and a 60yard outdoor range located in Tyler, Texas.

Our team includes experienced bowhunters, competitive target archers, USA Archery Certified Coaches, and skilled technicians with more than 25 years of combined technical experience.

We live the sport every day, and we're passionate about helping others discover the confidence, challenge, and community that archery provides.
