Griffin Archery is looking for knowledgeable, enthusiastic people to join our team in Tyler, Texas. We currently have two positions available: an experienced Full-Time Archery/Bow Technician and a Part-Time Archery Sales Associate for an avid bowhunter who knows the sport and wants to learn more.

We’re looking for people who enjoy helping customers, talking archery, and being part of a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Full-Time Archery / Bow Technician

Tyler, TX | Full-Time | Starting at $17+/hour, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Bow Technician who can confidently work on bows and help customers select, set up, and maintain their archery equipment. Overtime may be available during the busy hunting season.

What You’ll Do

  • Help customers select bows, arrows, sights, rests, releases, and other archery equipment.
  • Set up, tune, troubleshoot, and repair compound bows and other archery equipment.
  • Install and adjust accessories and help customers get their equipment properly dialed in.
  • Answer technical questions and explain equipment and setup options to customers of all experience levels.
  • Help maintain inventory, stock merchandise, and keep the archery department organized and ready for customers.
  • Provide the friendly, knowledgeable service Griffin Archery customers expect.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous bow technician experience is required.
  • Personal bowhunting experience and a strong understanding of bowhunting equipment.
  • Working knowledge of compound bows, traditional bows, crossbows, arrows, sights, rests, releases, and related accessories.
  • Strong mechanical ability and confidence working on archery equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment and tuning issues and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable, motivated, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
  • A willingness to continue learning as archery equipment and technology evolve.

Part-Time Archery Sales Associate

Tyler, TX | Part-Time 20-30hrs | Starting at $15+/hour, based on experience

Are you the person your hunting buddies call when they have a question about bows, arrows, broadheads, sights, or getting ready for bow season?

We’re looking for an avid bowhunter with strong archery knowledge to join the Griffin Archery team part-time.

Professional bow technician experience is NOT required. If you already know bowhunting and archery equipment, have mechanical aptitude, and are eager to learn, we can teach you the technical side of the job.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers and help them find the right archery and bowhunting equipment.
  • Answer questions about bows, arrows, sights, rests, releases, broadheads, and accessories.
  • Share practical bowhunting knowledge and help customers make informed equipment choices.
  • Assist experienced technicians with bow setups and learn additional technical skills on the job.
  • Stock merchandise, maintain inventory, and keep the archery department organized.
  • Help create a welcoming environment for everyone from first-time archers to experienced bowhunters.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be an active, knowledgeable bowhunter.
  • Strong knowledge of compound bows and modern bowhunting equipment.
  • Good understanding of arrows, sights, rests, releases, broadheads, and other accessories.
  • Comfortable talking with customers and explaining equipment in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn bow setup, tuning, and repair.
  • Dependable, personable, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Previous bow technician experience is not required—we’re willing to train the right person.
